Gap Magic(al Free Jeans For You).

The giveaway at the end of this post is sponsored by Gap.

So like, a year ago, I went on a little trip to New York City.  And lucky me, the Gap contacted me about going on a little pre-trip shopping spree.  Obviously, I merrily took them up.  I've been working with the Gap for a few months now, since my Born to Fit party.  While I've embraced Gap jeans as my new favorite, I'll confess I wasn't always on the lookout for non-denim attire when I was shopping in the store.  I have always thought of Gap as a great place for basics, and still do, but these days, if you are just there for a simple cardigan and some jeans you are MISSING OUT.  BIG TIME.  Dresses, jackets, shirts.  They kind of have it all, and they might be replacing in my heart another little store I used to shop at all the time for my more, how shall I say this....personality laden pieces (that store will remain nameless).

So what did I buy?

This blazer is basically my new favorite thing on Earth.  I loved it so much I got it in both black and grey.  It is PERFECT for casual Fridays at my office (yes, my casual Friday is still jacket required).  It's so versatile.  It works well with black pants, as seen above.  It also goes great with jeans, for a dressy casual look:

and I recently paired it with a dress for work:

And let's talk about the True Straight Pants.  In short, I love them.  In long- they have an amazing fit, great stretch, and are the most comfortable pants I now own.

The pair I have now will work great with heels, but I am also quite tempted to have a pair hemmed to go with my new favorite comfy shoe, the Gap City Flat, $39.50:

I bought them in gray during the Gap Magic event, and I may have lead a pilgrimage to Fifth Avenue to score a pair in silver.  And I may have convinced 5 people to buy a pair while we were there.  If you don't believe me, just read the reviews on the Gap page.

Speaking of the Most Comfortable Things Ever, I also got this dress:

The purple version in sold out online, but the Dotted Ruffle is the same shape with a fun print.  And the Silky Ruffle dress would make a great substitution.  This dress garners an abundance of compliments every time I wear it.  It's also a great transitional piece- worn with sandals now, boots and tights when it gets cooler.

And continuing with my love of purple for the season, I picked up this top:

I wore it like this during the summer:

And during the winter, the ruffle detail at the neck fits PERFECTLY with this boyfriend sweater:

I plan to wear this two items together with my straight leg pants and City Flats.  And yes, I've already tried it all on together and pranced around my bathroom.

But enough about me!  This post is all about you.  Giving you a FREE pair of Gap jeans specifically.  Just tell me what you are most excited about for fall, and you will be entered to win a gift certificate for a free pair of jeans from the Gap (up to $69.50 value).  Tweet about the giveaway linking to this page, and get an extra chance at victory.  What are you waiting for???
